Thank You for Attending the 52nd Candlelight Tour

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the Society for the Preservation of Historic Oakwood, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who attended our annual Candlelight Tour. The event, held on December 9th and 10th, was a tremendous success, and your presence made it truly special. We had over 2000 guests Saturday and over 1000 guests braved the weather on Sunday.

Your enthusiasm, support, and appreciation for our community's rich history and architectural heritage inspire us to continue our mission and preserve this treasured neighborhood.

Our dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure that the Candlelight Tour was a memorable experience for all who attended. Each of the hundreds of volunteers played an integral role in making this event possible especially our tour chairs Jake and Parker. We extend our sincerest thanks to these individuals for their unwavering commitment and hard work.

We would also like to express our gratitude to the homeowners who graciously opened their doors to the public, allowing us to showcase the exquisite craftsmanship and period details that make Oakwood such a unique destination. Your generosity and willingness to share your homes truly epitomize the spirit of community that is at the heart of Historic Oakwood.

Additionally, we would like to recognize the local businesses and individual sponsors who generously supported the Candlelight Tour. You can view a full list HERE.

Finally, we want to thank all of our tour attendees for your ongoing support of the Society for the Preservation of Historic Oakwood. Whether you are a resident of Oakwood, a lover of history, or simply someone who appreciates the beauty of our community, your presence at the Candlelight Tour confirms the importance of our work. Your participation in this event serves as a reminder that our collective effort to preserve and celebrate our historic district is not in vain.

Once again, thank you for being a part of the Candlelight Tour. We are immensely grateful for your support and look forward to continued endeavors to preserve and protect the heritage of Historic Oakwood.
