There's Something About Oakwood is a new documentary by Kate Gleason and Margaret Maloney that premieres Saturday, August 15, with an encore screening on Monday, August 17, at the Carolina Theatre of Durham.

"Saved from demolition in the 1970s by a group of gay men and widows, the Historic Oakwood neighborhood of Raleigh, North Carolina, has become a haven of inclusive community with a unique social contract and a packed schedule of intergenerational celebrations. But will it withstand the tests of time and the changes that threaten its future?"
